Idamalayar Dam

Located near Bhoothathankettu ( around 23kms apart) in south India with the scenic hills of the Western Ghats in the background, Idamalayar Dam is in a secluded spot full of vibrant natural beauty. The backdrop of the Western Ghats forms an imposing sight that is truly fascinating to behold. The dam is a combination of gravel – masonry with a length of about 370 metres. It is an ideal place for boating, bird watching and trekking. .
